Eco Cube Oslo
The cube will be a pilot project for A-lab’s eco-BIM technology. The Økern area faces significant changes in the near future and is being developed as a new destination in Oslo. The new Økern center brings industry, culture and housing to the area. Lørenveien 68 can function as a broker between the new Økern center and Løren’s established residential area.

Since January Skanska Norway have been progressing the above-ground works, building the superstructure at a rate of about one office lamella per month. Each lamell is 140m long and 12,5m/3 storeys high. Whilst the steel truss sections for the upper lamellas are being lifted into place by Northern Europe’s largest mobile crane, prefabricated façade elements produced in central Sweden are being mounted on the lower lamellas.

The construction of the new library and renovation of City Hall in Søgne, Norway is starting in the midst of September. Architects A-lab is behind the new project. The parish hall will be rebuilt, and the building will get a new third floor, which will allow for an outdoor scene. The future-oriented new library will be twice as large as the current one.
