New Aspen Art Museum Building – 11 Jan 2014
With the unan­i­mous sup­port of the AAM Board of Trustees, the ini­tial fundrais­ing suc­cess, the iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of Shigeru Ban as design archi­tect, and the August 2011 acqui­si­tion of prop­erty at the cor­ner of Spring Street and Hyman Avenue in Aspen, the AAM com­menced con­struc­tion in fall 2012 of a build­ing appro­pri­ate for the pro­duc­tion, pre­sen­ta­tion, and expe­ri­ence of art.

The Center for Character and Leadership Development is a new building on the campus of the United States Air Force Academy. It is the first new building since 1981 to be erected on the terrazzo, which was designed by SOM architects in 1954.

A complete renovation and minor addition of one of the first homes built in the ultraexclusive enclave of Red Mountain in Aspen, Colorado. Clad in reclaimed regional wood, stone and steel the home is intended to make a minimal impact on the natural resources and merge effortlessly with its idyllic surroundings of forest, stream and mountain.

This building is a proposed weekend retreat, perched on a ridge of the Colorado Plateau with great views out over the landscape. The house is nestled in a grove of dramatic Aspen trees and features an innovative organic interior.
