The city is the third largest city in Sweden, after Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the fifth largest city in Scandinavia. The Øresund Region, which includes the city, is home to 3.9 million people. The oldest building is Sankt Petri Church. It was built in the early 14th century in Baltic Brick Gothic probably after St Mary’s Church in Lübeck. The church is built with a nave, two aisles, a transept and a tower.
