The Marq has exquisite design features as a new take for modern luxury apartment design. One is immediately taken in by the quality of design upon arriving at the sculpted entrance court and walking through the grounds, privately appointed amenities and lobbies.
Its two towers house spacious and elegantly styled apartments. The larger apartments are derived from interlocking volumes, hinted at by jinked lines of sunshading finials on the facades of the clean rectangular building forms. Double volume living spaces are created by the volumetric inversions. The living room is double-fronted by a wide and deep balcony with a rectilinear private lap/plunge pool.
This creates a dramatic effect at the living spaces, and articulates the facade at the same time. A pattern of aluminium extrusions which screen services and offer privacy elegantly animate the elevations. These elements double-up as effective environmental filters.
The Marq is impressive for setting a very high standard in design with its unexpected and unique architectural expression.
