La Loma Housing
It is located in the residential area of the highest appreciation in San Luis Potosi City and a great position, having the convenience of being situated between different communication highways, important shopping centers and an unparalleled view of La Loma sports club.
The housing project is complemented by a shopping mall on the ground level of approximately. 2,000 m2 on Antonio Rocha Cordero Blvd., with a big parking lot where is proposed to have triple AAA commercial spaces to complement the area with cafeterias, restaurants, boutiques, etc..
The idea is that both projects work at the same time without affecting each other. The houses as the shopping mall have entrances, security, structure, facilities, parking and independent operations. It achieves that each one has its own life without being affected by the other.
The basic concept of the apartment tower is an assembly of two superimposed parts. The first that has 30 apartments of 155 m2 (type B) having 6 units per floor with four cores of high speed elevators. The next part contains 24 apartments (one per level) ranging between 240 and 350 m2 (type A) that are designed as 3 towers with very thin tips that top off the building lightly to reduce the weight of the whole building.
The project proposes to have more than 1,000 m2 of common green areas: Gardens, terraces, playgrounds, etc complemented by first class amenities, such as: semi-Olympic pool, sun deck, terrace, jacuzzi and wading pool, gym, office center and game room.
The buildings are designed as open floor plans with natural views, lighting and ventilation having double facade, outward and to the central atrium which creates environments, spatial quality and light intensity different for each space. At the ends of the towers there are four cores with vertical circulation, the facilities pipelines and a “humid” fringe to locate the services of the departments (bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and services). This facilitates the construction, maintenance and the future facilities reparations.
