BIRDAIR LECTURE

Diébédo Francis Kéré is an architect from Burkina Faso who received an Aga Khan Award for Architecture for a primary school that he designed in his home village of Gando. He is currently teaching at the Technical University of Berlin.

Walter Bird, whose work on the design and fabrication of lightweight structures is of international significance, was a founder of Birdair and taught at UB’s School of Architecture and Planning.
