Key buildings include Museum für Kunsthandwerk (Museum of Arts and Crafts Frankfurt) by world-famous architect Richard Meier (USA) and the Commerzbank Tower by Foster & Partners, Architects (UK). Key recent buildings include Tower 185 Building by Prof. Christoph Mäckler Architekten and the KfW Westarkade Building – “Best Tall Building in the World 2011” – building by Sauerbruch Hutton. A major proposal is the Grand Hyatt Tower by UNStudio (Netherlands).

Alte Oper in Frankfurt
The Alte Oper is one of the world’s leading concert halls. Each year 450,000 people come to visit more than 400 concerts performed by internationally renowned artists of the classical music, jazz and the entertainment sector. The venue intends to convert one of its multifunctional used foyers into a central and adjustable place of encounter, conversation and interchange.

This 56-story, 259 m high futurist skyscraper – owned by Samsung of Korea since 2016 – is located in the banking district. An antenna spire with a signal light on top gives the tower a total height of 300.1 m (985 ft). The gleaming structure is the tallest building in the city, and the tallest building in Germany.
