Coldingham Bay House
Contemporary Scottish Coastal Home on North Sea – design by Sutherland Hussey Architects
3 Feb 2014
Coldingham Bay Home
Location: Coldingham, Berwickshire, Scottish Borders – southeast Scotland
Design: Sutherland Hussey Architects
Sutherland Hussey Architects have just received planning permission for their design of two adjacent apartment villas in the small village of Coldingham Bay to the south east of Edinburgh.
Each villa consists of 4 independently accessed apartments with private terraces and gardens which overlook the stunning coastal inlet which is popular with surfers.
The buildings will replace a large disused retirement home and have been designed to be more respectful of the scale of the surrounding houses.
It is intended that the project will be on site by late 2014.
