UNStudio join forces with HPP Architects to create a consortium (UNS + HPP) to carry out the next phases of the project. Both companies bring many years of experience with large-scale projects, complex planning and design processes.

Iconic Awards
The architectural firm AL_A was awarded the title of ‘Architects of the Year’ at this year’s Iconic Awards. The London-based office founded succeeded from the very beginning in impressing the experts with fascinating designs, including the modernisation of the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, the V&A Museum in London and the Central Embassy, a shopping mall in Bangkok. The Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT) in Lisbon, completed in 2016, likewise created a sensation.

The nhow lifestyle hotel will open in 2021. It will be the second nhow Hotel of NH Hotel Group in Germany and aims to offer an exceptional design concept and the highest quality facilities and service.

Alte Oper in Frankfurt
The „Alte Oper“ in Frankfurt is one of the world´s leading concert halls. Each year 450,000 people come to visit more than 400 concerts performed by internationally renowned artists of the classical music, jazz and the entertainment sector. The „Alte Oper“ intends to convert one of its multifunctional used foyers into a central and adjustable place of encounter, conversation and interchange. The emerging office of the architect Fabian A. Wagner succeeded in an international competition against highly challenging participants. Zaha Hadid Architects landed on the second place.

Building on Former Deutsche Bank Site
A ‘City for All’ – this celebrated Dutch atchitecture practice win this architectural competition for the former Deutsche Bank site. Comprising four high-rise towers with a multi-storey plinth and housing mixed-use programmes, large public spaces and incorporated subsidised housing, UNStudio’s design for the former Deutsche Bank site will create a ‘City for All’ in the heart of Frankfurt.

European Central Bank Frankfurt Tower Building + European Central Bank Development
The dynamic design of this Viennese architecture studio for the new premises of this important European Institution combines the low-level landmarked Grossmarkthalle with a new twisted double tower. The tower is 185 metres high.
