Status – New build 4 screen cinema designed for the premier independent cinema exhibition.

Construction Period – 1 year, opened April 2011.

Northern Building Design Associates

The official name of Newquay cinema is The Lighthouse Cinema.

It was built and opened by WTW Cinemas in the summer of 2011.

Newquay cinema is Cornwall’s first digital cinema – capable of showing 3D films. The cinema capacity is 650, across four screens.
