CAI aims to realise the full potential of imaging as a research tool aligning research, industry and education in a rich collaborative environment right on the campus.
The building houses highly experimental molecular imaging technology and three floors of laboratories (see info sheet attached for details), write up areas, as well as offices and meeting spaces, seminar and training facilities.
There is also a communal roof terrace for staff with views across the campus, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a gallery space.
Wilson Architects are well-known for their expertise in science-based research design and CAI is another ground-breaking project for them in this area.
