Just as the High Line has reinvigorated West Chelsea, HL23 has participated in the radical transformation of the cityscape.

About Neil Denari

Neil Denari is the founding principal of Neil M. Denari Architects, Inc. (NMDA. Inc.), a Los Angeles based firm dedicated to the exploration of contemporary life through the mediums of architecture, urban planning and industrial design.

Commissions have included the groundbreaking Gallery MA in Tokyo; a series of banks in Japan for the Mitsubishi United Financial Group and other forthcoming international projects. Neil Denari received his B.Arch at the University of Houston and his M.Arch at Harvard University.

Neil Denari is the author of Interrupted Projections (TOTO 1996) and Gyroscopic Horizons (Princeton 1999), and has held teaching positions at Columbia University, the Bartlett in London, UC Berkeley, Princeton University and Harvard University.

From 1997 to 2002, Neil Denari was the director of SCI-Arc (the Southern California Institute of Architecture) in Los Angeles. Currently, he is a tenured professor at the UCLA Department of Architecture and Urban Design.
