Hervé Tordjman is an Architect and a Structural Engineer.

After studying Mathematics, Hervé Tordjman studied Civil Engineering (Bridge Construction) at “Ecole des Arts & Métiers” and “Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées” in Paris, France. At the same time, he studies Architecture at “Ecole des Beaux-arts de Paris (Paris La-Seine)” where he obtained his architectural degree (DPLG).

He worked with Antoine Grumbach (Bercy/Tolbiac walking bridge, Saint Quentin en Yvelines University campus) and collaborated with Paul Andreu in the enginnering and architecture department of the Paris Airport Authority (ADPi), on the New Dubai International Airport.

The School Complex Pasteur building is located in Limeil-Brevannes, near Paris. It consists of three preschools and of two elementary schools.

Le Corbusier described Notre dame as a ‘pure creation of spirit”. The new extension roof is white, recalling the title of a Le Corbusier book: “When the cathedrals were white”.

Abundant planting in the communal spaces continues into the private spaces, constituting another major undertaking of the project. Situated on a narrow plot surrounded by buildings, some imposing, the facades wre designed so that were both largely glazed but also largely planted, in order to create a kind of filter to mask direct views.
