Vietnam Skyscraper Building – 16 Oct 2012
This skyscraper building won first prize in an architecture competition. It’s a mix-used building with commercial, office for lease, service center and apartments. It is focused particularly in the right organization and use of the building. The building wants to answer the corner location, ensuring areas for develop social relationships between residents and visitors. It has been created different open areas to increase public space.

Binh Duong, a new city 30 minutes away from Ho Chi Minh City, has a typical tropical climate all year round. The site is located in the middle of a flourishing forest…people are in harmony with the nature, making the border between the inside and the outside ambiguously. The architects tried to embed the building into the site by delivering Vietnam-orientated generous spirit of natural land into the school design.

Even in Hochiminh, a chaotic and highly density city, a 3 m wide and 9 m deep plot in a narrow street is still considered as a thorny problem for renovating an old house to a more comfortable and functional space. The house is designed for a middle-aged woman and her friend, who are inspired by music and beauty of nature.

In order to meet the increasing need of mud bath, i resort with Vietnam traditional architecture and innovation in space and structure gives new experience to tourists in Vietnam. The resort is located in a small hill near the main river separating from Nha Trang city centre has the necessary calm, which help tourists enjoying high class mud bath services.

Whoever wanders around Saigon, a chaotic city with the highest density of population in the world, can easily find flower pots cramped and displayed here and there all around the streets. This interesting custom has formed the amused character of Saigon over a long period of time and Saigonese love their life with a large variety of tropical plants and flowers in their balconies, courtyards and streets.

Established in 2009, a small group of designers wishes to bring their conception of life to the surroundings by architecture. ‘Every morning, the first thing that I would like to do is to draw lines in a comfortable and joyful mindset. I used to dream of an office-house for not travelling in a frequent traffic-jam and highly polluted place like Ho Chi Minh City.’

This Vietnamese Building has “good Feng Shui, leans on mountains, avoids storms, flash floods and faces towards the valley”. The overall spatial structure is organized in chain. Front space is the open courtyard, where holds the outdoor activities. The main living space lies in the middle part, consisting of two floors. Upstairs is a kindergarten combining with library and meeting areas.
