Serpentine Building Treviso
Design: D+R dipiuerre architettura
Building in Treviso
The building assumed spiral develops in a continuous motion that turning around a central courtyard, culminating in a tower facing the front street. In this way the building has a focal point in the tower side as a green area that relates positively with the surrounding context.
Furthermore, the articulation of the ground floor of the building ensures it is as small area of relevance, in order to achieve greater availability of space and maximum permeability with all the surrounding context.
Reference point, the desire to create a readily identifiable presence in the neighborhood, while ensuring a non-congested area between the building and surrounding area by way of retraining.

D + R office fits into the world of architectural design as a new laboratory that research spaces solutions to contemporary life. Wherever people expect more from an area of what it can do. We live in a time when economic globalization, information and technology make it possible to turn dreams into reality and imagination.
The idea to establish our office was born from the desire to give an interpretation to these needs, leaving the patterns and conventional standards, what is customary, by providing the customer a set of ideas that can respond to design programs to any scale, including through the use of innovative technologies integrated with environmentally sustainable solutions and an established network of specialist advice.
International experience gained by D+R members has features like the ability to transform customer’s needs in an ‘idea that confronts the political, cultural and geographical landscape in which it is. In this way the dynamics of design are adapted to the needs of the modern city, not only through professional service, but through the continuous development of aspirations and expectations.
