Winner at the European Property Awards

Madrid, November 18th, 2016 – KAWNEER, specialist in aluminum architectural solutions, which has developed to measure the complex and sophisticated carpentry of Villa Arcadio (located in Marbella’s urbanization La Zagaleta, in Spain), is pleased by the award that the project has just received.

The organization of the European Property Awards in London, has awarded in the category of best residential property 2016.

The house, raised and developed by the prestigious Maíz y Díaz Architects Studio, is stripped of everything that is not essential to give shape to a construction that is mainly characterized by the predominance of straight lines, the strong connection between interior-exterior and adaptation to a complicated natural environment.

To achieve compliance with all these requirements has led the architects to play with cubic geometry modules for its construction, to select a set of high quality noble materials.

Maíz y Díaz Arquitectos used KAWNEER and its high range of aluminum architectural solutions such as sliding gates KASTING, windows KASSIOPÉE and KALORY, curtain wall AA100 and large dimensions door KANADA.

With them the architects have enabled the achievement of large dimensions openings, as well as the insulation required at all times.

The European Property Awards, now in their 24th year, are judged by an independent panel of 70 industry experts. They consider design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability when making their decision.

The judging panel is chaired by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Liverpool, members of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament.
