Gleneagles Hotel Proposal
Ochil unveil golfing hotel, course & resort next door to Gleneagles.
Planning application lodged for: major championship golf course + clubhouse; 180-room five-star hotel; masterplan for 250 luxury houses.
Ochil Developments is owned by the Al Tajir family, Dubai.
Gleneagles Hotel separately proposing £18m hotel refurbishment + new spa & restaurant.
Previously they had intended to extend the hotel and course with Ochil in the £300m Gleneagles West plan.
Luxury Scottish Hotel in Perthshire
Gleneagles Hotel opened in 1924. The Hotel is a Five Red Star golf resort set in 850 acres of Perthshire countryside. The Hotel was designed in the style of a French chateau with landscaping inspired by Capability Brown.
