The first of two twin office towers, with 22.000m2 each, crowning the main Gaia Nova round-about, with a breathtaking view over Oporto’s city centre on the banks of the Douro river, right down to the river mouth and the Atlantic Ocean.

Tower Plaza, Vila Nova de Gaia

These 17-storey structures are architectural landmarks, with their building volumes set symmetrically to the road. The offices were designed in three superimposed 5-storey units, each of them built around an internal, well-lit, 4-storey-high courtyard, topped by a full-length floor that separates it from the other similar modules. Being a true architectural expression of our own times, these office buildings emanate an enduring presence, that is, independent from current trends easily outdated.

Tower Plaza, Vila Nova de Gaia Uma de duas torres de escritórios com 22.500m2 cada e 17 pisos acima do solo, que coroam simetricamente a rotunda principal de Gaia Nova, com uma vista deslumbrante sobre o centro do Porto.

As unidades de escritórios desenvolvem-se em três conjuntos sobrepostos de 5 pisos, cada um dos quais gira em torno de um átrio interior muito luminoso e transparente, com uma altura livre de 4 pisos, encimado por um andar pleno que o separa dos outros módulos semelhantes. As fachadas, com uma imagem metálica e contemporânea, em que a modulação interior dos espaços é inegavelmente transportada para o exterior, afirmam-se pela sobriedade do design, concebido para ser independente de “modas arquitectónicas”, rapidamente ultrapassáveis.
