Unity with various functional sections: as a leading company in the field of engine systems, MTU Aero Engines opens up a new production and development location in the Polish town of Rzeszów.
MTU Aero Engines Polska
The design for the building, which will represent this Polish company in the future, is based on a compact structure in which the production, computing centre and administration areas are unified under one roof and connected by the common entrance hall.
Elongated strips of windows of varying widths divide up the structure of the building under the continuous roof landscape. While the facade of the production department and the computing centre is more or less closed, daylight passes into the interior of the administration wing through the transparent facade.

MTU Aero Engines Polska Sp. zo.o Produktions- und Verwaltungsgebäude, Rzeszów, Polen Einheit mit unterschiedlichen Funktionsabschnitten: Als führendes Unternehmen im Bereich Triebwerksysteme eröffnet die MTU Aero Engines einen neuen Fertigungs- und Entwicklungsstandort im polnischen Rzeszów. Der Entwurf für das Gebäude, das zukünftig MTU Aero Engines Polska repräsentiert, geht von einem kompakten Baukörper aus, in dem Produktion, Rechenzentrum und Verwaltung unter einem Dach vereint und durch die ge- meinsame Eingangshalle verbunden werden.
Langgestreckte Lichtbänder unterschiedlicher Breite gliedern den Gebäudekörper unter der durchlaufenden Dachlandschaft. Während sich die Fassade der Produktion und des Rechenzentrums eher geschlossen zeigt, wird im Bereich des Verwaltungstraktes über die transparente Fassade Tageslicht in die Innenräume gelenkt.
