Following on from The Commons and Nightingale 1.0, by Breathe Architecture, Six Degrees is currently working on Nightingale 2.0 Apartments. This project is adjacent to Fairfield railway station.
The development in Fairfield is based on the Nightingale model for triple bottom line developments. Apartments that are environmentally, socially and financially sustainable. The ultimate goal of the Nightingale project is to provide quality urban housing at an affordable price by simplifying both the development process and the building itself.

The brief for this property design was to create a 1 bedroom apartment that can also operate as a home office space, with the feeling of luxury, comfort and detailing you would expect find in a normal house. The home design concept constraints of the existing apartment are the lack of outdoor space, lack of access to daylight, low ceiling height, and limiting kitchen.
