National Football Museum UK – News Update

National Football Museum Manchester

National Football Museum due to close its public galleries following a decision taken last week to move to Manchester.

Preston City Council is now threatening to take legal action over the decision to move, which will see the museum move to Urbis in Manchester.

Preston North End Football Club is one of the oldest running football clubs in England and the first to win the double (League and FA Cup) so was considered the best location for this national collection.
