BUDGET:
$10,000 USD (or GBP equivalent).

THE PROPOSAL:
The brief is to design a temporary, freestanding, transportable and contemporary showcase Pavilion to be installed in the Museum Gardens during the summer of 2014.

The theme for this year’s Triumph Pavilion is “Dream”, hence the Pavilion will be entitled “Dream Pavilion”. It is a theme that invites participants and visitors to dream about a unique space, creating a place, achieving an ambition or simply being inspired by a series of thoughts, images and sensations.

The Pavilion design should also encourage and highlight the need for ecological and sustainable design principles where possible.

The proposed design should not exceed 4 meters in height and 60 Square meters in area.

DETAILING / BUILD / FABRICATION:
3rd February 2014 – 3rd May 2014

CONSTRUCTION / FABRICATION COMPLETION:
Completed and in place by 27th May 2014

REALISATION:
The winning individual or project team may be assigned to an architectural office or co-architect to collaborate with to further develop the construction drawings and prepare it for construction where the individual or team lacks the experience. Structure is to be built off site elsewhere and then assembled or installed placed in position in the Museum Gardens.

REGISTRATION:
Every entrant shall be required to pay an entry fee based on the following registration schedule:

Special Registration: from 28th June 00:00 (GMT) to 15th July 2013 23:59 (GMT)
Early Registration: from 16th July 00:00 (GMT) to 14th August 2013 23:59 (GMT)
Standard Registration: from 14th August 00:00 (GMT) to 30th October 2013 23:59 (GMT)
Late Registration: from 31st October 00:00 (GMT) to 11th November 2013 23:59 (GMT)

One Registration per Project Proposal [with each proposal being assigned a Unique Registration Number (URN)]

Discounted registration fee will continue to apply for Student teams.

ELIGIBILITY:
Architects
Architecture Graduates
Architecture Students
Inter-disciplinary teams (engineers, designers in-conjunction with an architect).

Submissions can be the work of an individual or a group up to 4 members.

RESTRICTION:
Participants must be aged between 18 or over on date of registration for this competition.

SUMBMISSION DEADLINE
11th November 2013 – Closing Date for Proposal Submission. All deadlines are 23:59 Hours (GMT)

AWARD:
The winning proposal will receive the Honour of designing the ArchTriumph Showcase Triumph Pavilion 2014: “Dream Pavilion” with detail as follows:

1st Prize:
US$ 10,000 (TEN THOUSAND US DOLLARS) budget to construct the ArchTriumph Showcase Triumph Pavilion 2014: “Dream Pavilion” to be exhibited in the Museum Gardens, Bethnal Green in London.
Publication on Archtriumph’s website and Social Media platforms.
Publication in architecture magazine, various architecture websites and blogs.
Exhibited at the Triumph Pavilion opening event and during the month of London Festival of Architecture.

2nd, 3rd and 10 Special Mention:
Publication on Archtriumph’s website and Social Media platforms.
Exhibited at the Triumph Pavilion opening event.
