Developed in a 50:50 joint venture between Hammerson and Kajima Europe BV, One London Wall provides 18,500 m² of office accommodation. The 13-storey building is predominantly occupied by international law and finance firms. Occupiers include Maclay Murray Spens; Dewey Ballantine; Melli Bank; Bowne International; Hymans Robertson; Nikko Global Asset Management; Osborne Clarke and DLA Piper. This is a small builidng for the architects who are better known for major buildings such as airports and skyscrapers. The design is attractive, turning the corner gracefully and helping to provide an antidote to the unpleasant brutality of London Wall’s concrete buildings to the east, and also the rather ungainly Museum of London opposite to the north.
