View from the north, the principal view as it faces the road junction and traffic coming across the Thames, the key feature is a chamfer progressively sliced off the angled facade as it goes up the building:

Terminating the vista from the south end of Blackfriars Bridge is the crystalline form of this 20 storey office building wrapped in a fluid pinstripe glass skin.

A simple extruded parallelogram has been cut away in several planes: diagonally to the north, to orientate the building towards the river; at the base, to increase public space at street level; and across the roof, to create a dynamically-shaped sky room. The building will offer 220,000 square feet of high performance office space in Southwark. Retail units will animate the widened street.
