MADE IN MACEF – International Competition
Deadline: 12 Aug 2009
On the occasion of Macef Trade fair, the international Home Show, Fiera Milano announces an international call for entries to search for new objects that represent Italian design; among all submissions, 10 projects will receive special mentions, and among all submitted projects a maximum of 100 will be selected for showcasing during the Macef fair, that will take place in Milan on September 4-7 2009.
Theme of the Competition
The competition consists of two different tasks: the designing of a container (for example a basket, a box, a tray, a case, and so on) to “export” the Italian style; and the designing of objects representing the Italian style, to be showcased in the container.
Terms of Participation
The call for entries will be open from July 1st 2009 to August 12nd 2009.
To participate you have to fill in the entry form
Award
2,000 euros – (VAT excluded) will be assigned to three of the ten projects that will have received special mentions. The composition of the jury (made up of design experts, journalists, and exhibitors) that will choose the winning projects among the ten mentioned by Fiera Milano is about to be defined.
