Belfast architects McAdam Design with Studio Daniel Libeskind have been appointed to design a £18 million conflict resolution centre on the site of Northern Ireland’s infamous Maze Prison.

Irish Stadium – Long Kesh project abandoned

Stadium proposal on the former Maze Prison site abandoned due to political concerns from Unionists. The Maze was the location of Hunger strikes by IRA prisoners.

Scheme Design images by HOK sport architecture for the proposed multi-sports Stadium at the Maze / Long Kesh site in Northern Ireland. The unique design will incorporate rugby, football and Gaelic sports and will provide a landmark venue for Northern Ireland and an asset for the local community.

The Stadium Design brings together a range of different requirements in a cohesive whole.
