Construction is currently underway on an immense infrastructure project in India designed by Lee Harris Pomeroy Architects (LHPA), as part of an international consortium. The consortium led by AECOM-Maunsell (UK), includes EGIS (France), YEC (Japan), CES (India), and Lee Harris Pomeroy Architects with SGI. The new East-West Corridor of the Kolkata Metro Railway will have a total route length of 14.67km. The $1.2 billion Metro Corridor is comprised of six underground stations and six above ground stations.

The Kelly House, located on a 4,720 sqft plot in the heart of Chennai city, has about 6,200 sqft arranged over 3 floors. The ground floor has service areas, a foyer and parking space. Alongside, there are an entrance hall, a leisure space and fitness center which open towards the yard.

The project is part of JDT Islam campus, the very first Muslim orphanage in India situated in a quaint village in north Kerala, India. Formed in early 50s, the orphanage carried its legacy of philanthropic goodwill to orphans from around the country over the years. Unfortunately the built-environment was not a priority for major part of its existence resulting in highly disparage styles and mediocre buildings on the campus.

New Indian building to be located on the site of the capital of India’s ancient Magadhan Empire, Pataliputra. Architecture competition won by team of Japanese and Indian architects.

Inspiration for the design of this multi-brand boutique came from the way Indo-Islamic art and architecture use repetition of geometric forms to achieve intricate decorative patterns. Echoing the famous dome of the Taj Mahal and other landmarks of the Mughal period, a stylised hourglass form is repeated, building a texture and rhythm reminiscent of traditional patterns but made modern in its application, simplicity and materiality.

The office design for the corporate office for India Glycols embodies the issues concerning the workplace today, and explores the paradigm of the office space as a social activity. Sited in a non-contextual suburban area of Delhi, the setting, led to the development of an introverted scheme that would address environmental and socio-economic issues from first principles.
