Recently Donald Trump junior has been to India to promote the investments of the Trump Organization, one of the major American Real Estate companies.
Donald Trump Jr inaugurated the tower B of Trump Towers Pune, the residential complex built in the exclusive Kalyani Nagar district and realized together with Panchshil Realty, one of the most important real estate companies in the country (the owners, Atul and Sagar Chordia, made Forbes Magazine’s list of India’s 100 richest people in 2014).
Studio Matteo Nunziati has been entrusted to design all the interiors of the complex and to select and coordinate of all suppliers of the furnishings and finishes. The works, started in 2011, were completed in 2017 and with the inauguration of tower B all the spaces are now open. Donald Trump Jr has expressed a strong appreciation for the high level of the interior design project, stating that it could be a London or New York project, and the finishes would still be the best residential ones he has ever seen.
The interior project has concerned all 46 apartments (each about 6,100 square feet) as well as the public areas: entrance, reception, waiting area, Podium Floor with outdoor pool, fitness and yoga areas, two massage rooms, a reading area, a multi-use area, a business center and a room dedicated to poker.
The Studio Matteo Nunziati imagined these spaces in a highly contemporary style, sophisticated, essential and warm at the same time. Everywhere the extreme attention to detail creates an atmosphere of cozy and timeless elegance.
The lobby is grand and majestic, characterized by full height columns of 4m that are split in different sizes and coated in marble Silk Georgette, such as the rest of the entire entrance area. The same variety of the Silk Georgette marble was used for the other walls where a special process of engraving with traditional Indian motifs recalls the decorative culture of the place. In the back wall, near the two waiting areas, bronze niches pleasantly lit interrupt the rigor of marble. The ceiling is drawn from light cuts of various lengths.
Back in the apartment the Silk Georgette marble gives continuity and harmony, where the marble is laid in a particular format similar to a parquet laying (200×35 / 200×15 cm), which enhances the grains with a magical and enchanting effect. Between the entrance and the living room a decorative library realized with a slim wooden structure and transparent glass partition panels surrounds the space giving a sense of intimacy and privacy while maintaining a feeling of lightness, transparency and openness.
The imposing and monumental lobby is characterized by 5m high-height columns, broken in different sizes and covered in precious Silver Travertine marble, like the whole entrance area. The same variety of marble has been chosen also for the walls, where a special engraving process with traditional Indian motifs recalls the decorative culture of the place. On the bottom, near the two waiting areas, illuminated bronze niches pleasantly interrupt the rigor of the marble cladding. The ceiling is drawn from light cuts of various lengths.
