“The Wool Resource Centre in Hong Kong is a multifunctional space dedicated to product and process innovation to be used by all our partners …”

The Wool Resource Centre

The Wool Resource Centre includes a library, a showroom and an events space for visitors to develop and enhance their education on wool. There are six separate zones including open-plan workspaces, a meeting room and an auditorium.

Located in Kowloon Tower Landmark East building, the multi-functional space is a global hub for all things wool, allowing visitors to discover the wonders and versatility of the fibre while presenting new opportunities for Hong Kong’s textile industry. The uninterrupted views of Victoria harbour are fully utilised by the open space planning.

The combination of black and white tones and natural timber textures creates impactful and sophisticated space. This excellent outcome was delivered within a restricted timeframe. The Woolmark logo is one of the world’s most recognised and respected brands, providing assurance of the highest quality, and representing pioneering excellence and innovation from farm through to finished product.

The Wool Resource Centre

The Woolmark Company is a subsidiary of Australian Wool Innovation, a not-forprofit enterprise owned by more than 24,000 woolgrowers that invests in research, development and marketing along the worldwide supply chain for Australian wool. “The Wool Resource Centre in Hong Kong is a multi-functional space dedicated to product and process innovation to be used by all our partners throughout the supply chain,” explains The Woolmark Company Managing Director Stuart McCullough.

The raw nature of the floor material brings resonance to the natural wool products Woolmark promote. Designed by HASSELL Studio, the highly contemporary space features innovative furniture and multi-use design components to provide a blank canvas that can evolve and adapt according to the needs of an event.
