M7 Contemporary Apartments

Design hospitality in the heart of Florence The Italian studio Pierattelli Architetture has designed 11 apartments for a hospitality concept that combines the comfort of a home with the services and convenience of a hotel.

M7 Contemporary Apartments Florence

Florence – M7 Contemporary Apartments is located near Fortezza da Basso, far from mass tourism but just a short distance from the city centre. The space – of over 1000 sqm – comprises 11 apartments realized to combine comfort and design.

Located inside a neoclassical building – which Pierattelli Architetture has turned into original, new accommodation – the project represents the most recent evolution of a new model of hospitality pursued by the Italian architects: a concept that focuses on the visitor and his desire to travel while feeling at home. The result is hotel accommodation that is a well-balanced mix of luxury, design and hospitality.

M7 Contemporary Apartments Florence

The M7 Contemporary Apartments project began with the refurbishment of a historic neoclassical building whose interior was completely reinterpreted, creating a spatial subdivision aimed at maximum functionality and the exploitation of all usable space.

The result is 11 large apartments – single-, two- and three-room – all equipped with a kitchen and living area: spaces designed to enjoy each accommodation unit to the full and feel at home even when you’re travelling, cocooned in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

The rooms stand out for their clean, linear design, consisting of furnishings with an intimate and refined touch. The project makes it possible to point up the different spirits that coexist within M7, the classical and the contemporary.

The 11 apartments are dominated by light shades that give off an intimate, friendly atmosphere. These are contrasted by warm woods, such as canaletto walnut, and sharp, resolute touches of colour such as emerald green and electric blue, which give the rooms a refined, contemporary flair.

Each unit is cared for in every detail with custom made furnishings: from wardrobes to sofas, from tables to soft lights, every complement and detail has been designed to give uniqueness and charm to each room, for a truly 5-star stay. The jewel in the crown is a selection of iconic objects of Italian design that embellish the rooms and exteriors.

Diversity is the main catalyst: staying in an M7 apartment means living a unique story, with spaces different from each other, but which share the same styling code.

Not just simple hotel rooms, but environments aimed at offering a new way of travel, a refuge where to experience an unforgettable stay.

Pierattelli Architetture

Eclecticism, research and mutation are the cornerstones of Pierattelli Architetture’s work, a studio founded in Florence in the ‘80s by Massimo Pierattelli. Each piece of architecture is conceived as a taylor made creation, shaped not only around the client, but also around the context in which it is placed. Reinterpreting the past and imagining the future become, therefore, the main foundation of Pierattelli Architetture’s works and realizations.

The projects of the studio, with almost 40 years of experience behind it, range from directional centres to large infrastructures, from hotels to houses, from industrial spaces to design. Among the most famous are: the Arval offices at Scandicci (Florence), the Learning Center, Auditorium and Turbine Building for GE Oil & Gas in Florence, the Kortimed business centre in Valencia, UnipolSai Villa Cicogna and Learning Center in Bologna, the luxury apartment hotels Domux Home, M7Contemporary Apartments and the hotel Number 9 in Florence, the Cariprato headquarters in Prato.
