The Pier 8 is a 40-floor tower in the inner Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The tower has a total structural height of 170 m (558 ft). Construction of the Pier 8 tower building was expected to be completed in 2011.

This visionary development was created by Atkins, a leading multinational architectural design and engineering consultancy with extensive experience in the region.
The project is comprised of a 40-storey high-end luxury apartment tower, complimented by a retail podium and abundant leisure facilities.The hold composition utilises an interesting play of spaces and volumes, making it stand out from the other towers in its surroundings as a dynamic’ and expressive signature building. The distinctive nautical elements of the form are inspired by the prominent location of the site on the marina waterfront.
The curved, sail-like form of the tower along with the crisp, folded sections of the podium evoke a strong sense of graceful yet vibrant movement.The modern design takes into consideration the local dim ate and the orientation of the building, using a range of sun shading techniques, including aluminum brise-soleils, deep balconies and movable, aluminum screens,On a total built-up area of 563,039 square feet this distinctive, residence offers 234 apartments split into 14 studios, 110 one-bedroom apartments and 105 two-bedroom apartments, as well as 3 three-bedroom townhouses, and 2 three-bedroom penthouses on the 38th and 39th floor.
The apartments’ interiors have been carefully planned and designed, and finished to perfection using materials of outstanding quality from renowned suppliers inducing Salvarani kitchens, Duravit bathroom appliances, Hansgrohe bathroom accessories, Fontana Arte Lighting, and Floor Gres wall and floor finishing.
