The project designed by architectural office cepezed is a transformation of the former Shell office at 75 Oostduinlaan, which had long been part of the Shell campus in the stately Benoordenhout district. Socio-Technical City of the Future in The Hague
The CID test site covers a 1 x 1 km area in the centre of The Hague; currently a major infrastructure hub within the triangle of the Hague Central Station and two nearby stations, but in the future vision of the Socio-Technical City it becomes a green, self-sufficient double-layered district, where a new urban layer of housing, offices, urban mobility and park-like public space is composed over the existing train track infrastructure.

Rijnstraat 8
Design: OMA
The architects have converted a building, completed only in 1992, which was a keystone for an administration hub grew near the city’s central railway station. They have pared back a brilliantly conceived but cluttered structure and creating a platform for a more flexible bureaucracy.
