Bayuquan Flag Tower
Flag Tower of Yingkou Culture Plaza is on the north-east of Bayuquan Poly Theatre. The tower is 36 meters high, a little bit higher than the theatre. The fusiform section of the tower ensures least wind friction. The section is 5 meters long and 2 meters wide at its widest part. The flag tower is separated at golden ratio into three parts and the middle part is rotated 45 degrees facing the main street for LED screen installation. The flag tower is mainly constructed by round-hollow steel columns and covered by aluminum perforated plates which are highly consistent with the theatre’s facade. It is considered that the laconic shape of the tower resembles a light tower or a sailboat in the sea abstracted from the weaving facade of the theatre.
