Tham & Videgård are leaders of a new generation of Swedish architects.
Tham & Videgård Arkitekter Book
heir distinctive mix of Scandinavian and international architecture calls forth respect in their native country as well as abroad.
In 2008 they were awarded the Kasper Salin prize for best building of the year. They were shortlisted for the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2008, selected for the Design Vanguard 2009 and shortlisted at the 2008 World Architecture Festival.
The book displays 23 of their greatest projects from their first ten years. Among them we find the new School of Architecture in Stockholm, the Museum of Modern Art in Malmö, Kalmar Art Museum and the Tree Hotel.
The book, published by Arvinius Förlag, is the first of a series on the new generation of Nordic architects. The book’s striking design reflects its high quality and richly illustrated content, featuring an informed commentary by authors Tomas Lauri (Editor), Kieran Long (Architectural Review) and Hans Ibelings (A10).
