Battersby Howat documents the work of two young designers who practice in Vancouver. It focuses on ten projects that include urban housing, island cabins and a new field station for UBC.
The 96 page book, published by TUNS Press in the ‘Architectural Signatures Canada’ series, traces the design of these projects through conceptual sketches, construction details, models and photographs. The book received a 2014 COUPE International Award.

Established in 1996, Battersby Howat is a partnership between founders David Battersby and Heather Howat. Combining architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design, the practice offers a holistic approach to design.
