Working for the first time with Ian Simpson Architects, Beetham ingeniously achieved development of 250,000 sq ft on a restricted access site of less than 1/3 acre for this 39-storey mixed-use tower at Holloway Circus.
The 218 bed Radisson SAS Hotel opened in February 2005 offering a first class hotel experience in Birmingham City Centre. Above the 18 floors occupied by the hotel are 152 luxury apartments which were completed in the Spring of 2006. The apartments offer spectacular views over the city and beyond.
The final phase of the penthouse apartments will be launched Summer 2007.
Ian Simpson Architects have already won a RIBA Housing Design award for their bold design and unique cladding.
