Exposition du concours FLOW, l’histoire et les futurs projets de Tour & Taxis
Visit to the Waterways of Brussels
FLOW is a European competition for students in the last two years of architecture, engineering, art, landscape, urban planning, sociology and … young architects born after 31 December 1975. The subject is the waterway in Brussels, the capital of Europe – pond life and employment. It is a city project that brought together public and private partners.

This contest of ideas should allow participants to propose a bold and innovative architectural considering both the environmental, social, technical and economic.
The goal of the contest is to think of new ways of life and organizations to come to pre-recorded and reverse attitudes which will lead to reflections between private and public sectors.
Entries in the contest were completed successfully, it is among the participating countries: BE, IT, FR, CH, CZ, ES, FIN, GR.
In the contest, a visit to the waterway of Brussels, the surroundings, the port, these industries, these homes, these recreational and cultural … was organized for participants on Friday 27 February 2009. More than 100 participants from both students and professionals took part with great interest.

We invite you to visit until 19 April 2009 at Tour & Taxis (in the middle of the site) the exposure of the FLOW, the history and future projects of Tour & Taxis

Visite de la voie d’eau à bruxelles
FLOW est un concours EUROPEEN pour étudiants dans les deux dernières années d’architecture, d’ingénieur, d’art, de paysage, d’urbanisme, de sociologie… et jeunes architectes nés après le 31 décembre 1975 . Le sujet est la voie d’eau à Bruxelles, capitale de l’Europe – bassin de vie et d’emplois . Il s’agit d’un projet de ville qui réuni des partenaires privés et publics. Ce concours d’idées doit permettre aux participants de proposer un projet architectural innovant et audacieux qui envisage à la fois les dimensions environnementales, sociales, techniques et économiques.
L’objectif du concours est de réfléchir à des nouveaux modes de vie et d’organisations à venir , de les pré-figurer et de renverser les mentalités ce qui permettra d’induire des réflexions entre secteur privé et public.
Les inscriptions au concours se sont clôturées avec succès, on compte parmi les pays participants : BE, IT, FR, CH, DE CZ, ES, FIN , GR.
Dans le cadre du concours, une visite de la voie d’eau de Bruxelles, des abords, de son port, ces industries , ces logements, ces parties récréatives et culturelles…a été organisée pour les participants ce vendredi 27 février 2009. Plus de 100 participants tant étudiants que professionnels y ont pris part avec grand intérêt.
