The terrain is taken by a lane of araucarias that extends to the neighbors terrains, dissolving the strict character of the urban plot. A couple of philosophers with two children included in the program a library that should have independence and at the same time proximity to others uses.

Situated in a big housing complex, destitute of any urbanistic or architectonic quality, in the surroundings of Campinas, the site, with two corners and quite meager dimensions for the proposed program, was essential to determine the compact and vertical plan.

The project aim is to integrate the Theater Laboratory and Faculty of Theatrical and Corporal Arts on the Unicamp campus with the Music and Fine Arts schools. The proposal for the project is to give a new unity to the Institute of Art as a whole.
