Originally built in 1967 by Robert Matthew, Johnson-Marshall & Partners. It is the only 50-metre pool / Olympic size swimming pool in Edinburgh.
Money for Royal Commonwealth Pool refurbishment confirmed Feb 2008.
Corby East Midlands International Pool, Northamptonshire, England

Corby East Midland International Swimming Pool also referred to as Corby Pool is a sports facility located in Corby, Northamptonshire, England, which is owned and run by Corby Borough Council. The centre, which cost £19 m was opened in 2009 and is regularly used by the Northants ASA to host competitive swimming galas and their annual championships. The pool is used by Corby Swimming Club and Corby Steel Diving Club as their main training facility. It is also used by Northampton Swimming Club for training and for hosting open meets.

The Stage Curtain Playhouse
Planning consent has been given to the visitor centre at The Stage to exhibit the excavated remains of the Curtain Playhouse to the public. Visitors will be standing on a glass platform above the stage on which Shakespeare once acted and where productions of Romeo & Juliet and Henry V were staged.
