Susan Seifert and Pat Murphy have established outstanding reputations in their respective areas of architecture and interior design. They are the recipient of over 30 design awards from the Texas Society of Architects, the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and other organizations. We were presented with a great opportunity when asked to design One Arts Plaza. This site anchors the eastern end of Flora Street, the organizing spine of the Dallas Arts District. This 50 acre district claims work by four Pritzker prize-winning architects.

This site is in a traditional single-family neighborhood with large mature trees in front and a busy thoroughfare in the rear. These opportunities and limitations became the genesis of the design of the house.
