Architects Archial, in February 2010 announced the demolition of Balfour Stewart House, paving the way for their £35m residential development proposal in Murrayfield. Cameron Walker, director at Archial Architects, said, “The design solution for the site demonstrates an understanding of the location and its relationship with the adjacent and wider area.
