Design with Walter A. Noebel
The International Building Exhibition Berlin (German: Internationale Bauausstellung Berlin) was an urban renewal project in Berlin, Germany. IBA Berlin was initiated in 1979, and completed in 1987. The IBA followed two distinct strategies: “careful urban renewal” and “critical reconstruction.”
Josef Paul Kleihues was appointed director of the IBA Neubau section in 1979; Hardt Waltherr Hämer was director of the Altbau.
He organised the exhibition along two distinct themes: IBA Alt and IBA Neu. He invited many celebrated international architects such as Peter Eisenman, Vittorio Gregotti, Herman Hertzberger, Hans Hollein, Arata Isozaki, Rob Krier, Aldo Rossi and James Stirling.
Consequently, the IBA was called by Time magazine “the most ambitious showcase of world architecture in this generation”.

Gregotti Associati : Italian Architects
This international architectural firm was founded in 1974 by Vittorio Gregotti. Currently there are three partners, Vittorio Gregotti, Augusto Cagnardi and Michele Reginaldi, supported by twelve associates.
The architectural design firm collaborates regularly with engineering firms for the development of projects, and with experts and scholars when forming analysis groups for particularly demanding or complex issues. Since the 1970s there has been a continuous increase in activities. In the course of these years there have been hundreds of projects developed in over 20 countries in Europe, the US, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
The international architecture firm has its main offices in Milan and Venice, while temporary offices are often opened in the foreign locations where long-term projects are being carried out so as to facilitate the international scope of projects. A characteristic distinguishing this architecture practice is the design process. Teamwork is the preferred method, which integrates the different specific skills and expertise as part of a collective professional philosophy covering all the design development.
