Erik Giudice receives the Europe 40 under 40 Award

Erik Giudice (b.1971) in Stockholm is the director and founder of EGA_Erik Giudice Architects.
Erik Giudice studied architecture at Ecole Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris Belleville and at Istituto Universitario di Architecture di Venezia.

Erik Giudice Architects is a multidisciplinary office based in Paris and Stockholm. Giudice and his team have built up an international recognition through winning competition entries and built projects in a wide range of scales and programs: from cultural centers, sport facilities to urban projects. EGA has the capacity to undertake complex and large projects and works with a network of highly qualified specialists in all related fields. Regardless of scale or location the office always fuels all its energy into the project, combining passion, pragmatism and commitment.

Erik Giudice lectures extensively and has been invited as a guest critic to the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, to Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg, to Ecole Special d’Architecture in Paris and has been the key note speaker at the Swedish architects annual forum in Stockholm. Giudice has been awarded a Highly commendation at the Word Architectural Festival, a nomination to the LEAF awards, received the IAK/IOCS silver award for sport facilities.
He has been nominated to the Forum-Aid awards for the best Nordic architects and has received the GIArch prize in Italy. His work has been exhibited at the Triennale di Milano and at the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris.

The artwork interacts with the magnificent landscape and creates a connection in time and space between nature, city and infrastructure. The bridge becomes a passageway and a meeting place where the spectacular and the everyday are tied together.

Beton Hala Waterfront Center
The layout for the Waterfront Center takes it’s departing point from the linear structure of the existing Beton Hala. By concentrating the program on a linear strip, a park is created towards the Castle and a large multi activity promenade along the river.
