Managing Director for Atkins in Mainland China, Gareth Kirkwood said: “Our Planning & Design business goes from strength to strength, both on the Mainland and around the world. We have an outstanding portfolio of ongoing projects and Peter, with his wealth of design and business experience, is a welcomed addition to the senior ranks within Atkins. ”

According to Peter Ridley, who spent ten years as a partner with F&P: “Atkins is a very well established brand within China, and the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the company in such a vibrant market place was a very strong draw. The potential for designers really is staggering as there has been a seismic shift in emphasis in China towards low carbon architecture and planning”
