CLINICAL PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY

After completing the construction in Sudan and the activation of the Center for heart surgery “Salam”, is currently implementing the regional program “Salam”, nine satellite clinics in the nine countries bordering Sudan.

In Bangui, capital of Central African Republic, was made the first of these satellite units: a pediatric clinic with 2 surgeries and a place of hospitalization of 6 beds. In clinical cardiology clinics are also provided for the selection and monitoring of patients to target the hospital in Khartoum.

This is a storey building with a courtyard typology and central patio, made of hollow masonry and traditional wooden ceiling. The general choices, in terms of quality of body building, follow the guidelines already laid out with the project del’ospedale “Salam”. Great attention was given to the materials and liabilities heat the building.

Dopo aver completato in Sudan la costruzione e l’attivazione del Centro di cardiochirugia “Salam”, è in corso la realizzazione del programma regionale “Salam”: nove cliniche satellite nei nove paesi confinanti il Sudan.

A Bangui, capitale della Repubblica Centrafricana, è stata realizzata la prima di queste unità satellite: una clinica pediatrica con 2 ambulatori e uno spazio di degenza di 6 posti letto. Nella clinica sono inoltre previsti due ambulatori cardiologici per la selezione ed il monitoraggio di pazienti da indirizzare all’ospedale di Khartoum.

Si tratta di un edificio monopiano con tipologia a corte e patio centrale, realizzato in muratura cava di tipo tradizionale e copertura lignea. Le scelte generali, in termini di qualità del corpo edilizio, seguono le linee guida già tracciate con il progetto del’ospedale “Salam”. Grande attenzione è stata data ai materiali ed alla passività termica dell’edificio.
