After the earthquake, construction of new branch building done by the German Red Cross for Turkish Red Crescent.
The 1999 earthquake demolished Kocaeli-Golcuk and its surrounding as happened during centuries.
As we all know the existence of earthquake, buildings which are constructed unstable, ignorant and unconscious could not protect their existence over that kind of power. That buildings demolished with all values.
Help came from across the whole world.
Our works in that region caused us to take responsibility of design and application process of project.
Two floored building, over a narrow building site for the red crescent, to continue their working order-meetings and help centre to the probability of new earthquake.Building which will remain standing at other earthquakes should be built up with low budget.
Over reinforced concrete basement, steel structured linear building closed with ridge roof, presented to users. Simple areas were designed with simple materials.
