We have little information about the LFJT – Lycée Franco-Japonais de Tokyo (the French international school in Tokyo, Japan) but note that it exploits the translucent qualities provided by glass blocks.

These blocks appear to be used as a floor / ceiling element to provide natural lighting to the space below, and at night to allow lighting to prevade into the upper space. Descriptions of this building are very welcome if readers have visited it or know the project.

The Lycée Français International de Tokyo is a French international school in Takinogawa, Kita, Tokyo, serving levels Kindergarten through high school. It is a part of the Agency for French Education Abroad. The institution was founded in 1967.

Most courses use French as the medium of instruction. There is a bilingual French/English section in primary school and a Section européenne for Social Studies section in junior high (lower secondary) school. High school (upper secondary) students who speak Japanese may enroll in the Option international du Baccalauréat (OIB).
