Design: Turner + Associates
The showroom is a showcase enhancing the vehicles displayed. It reflects a ‘lifestyle’; showrooms must do more than display vehicles, they must reflect the qualities conveyed in the cars; fun, movement, technology, dynamics, luxury. The simplicity of the overall building is given drama by the great volume of the main space and the careful attention to the lighting that allows the cars themselves to become part of the architectural experience. The showroom has hosted launch functions, dinners, and community, university and art exhibitions, providing customers and visitors cross-exposure to cars, food, fashion, art and ideas.
