Swiss Office Building
Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has unveiled its plan for further investment in Geneva with a new building for its international headquarters. The aim is to build offices totalling approximately 25 000 sqm in the Sécheron area of the city by the end of 2013.

The new Jansen Campus lies in the village of Oberriet, in the Rhine valley, one of the most industrialised areas of Switzerland. The company is currently run by a dynamic young team and though in existence for almost a hundred years, the last ten years have seen a particularly rapid expansion into international markets.

The design of this adaptive re-use project was born initially out of a design competition initiated by the City of Muttenz/Basel. The design was based on the renovation of an historic farmhouse situated within the historic center core of the city. The original farmhouse was constructed in 1743. Today the converted farmhouse serves as an office for an architectural design company, provides community meeting space, and serves as a compelling link to a new, adjacent private residence.

Liestal Office Building
A new impressive retail and office building has been created at the Liestal Station Square. The striking six-storey building occupies the triangular site between the station and the head office of Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB). The constrictions of the site meant that the building’s footprint had to be smaller than its upper storeys, resulting in a downward tapering shape, and the dark anthracite-coloured concrete conveys a sense of robustness and stability at this dynamic location.
