Stuttgart Stadium - History

The Stuttgart Stadium was in 1933 Hitler's Kampfbahn, used for Hitler's recruiting propaganda.

After World War II American soldiers renamed the Kampfbahn as the Century-Stadium and played baseball there.

In became the Neckarstadion in 1949.

Used for the 1974 Football World Cup in 1974 and 2006

In 1993 the Neckarstadion was renamed as Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion after the founder of the automobile

Capacity: approx. 54,000
